Dining Alfresco in Boston with Accent Limousine

 dining alfresco
Now that it's officially summer, it's finally time to take advantage of all the outdoor eating spaces around Boston.  Picture this:  You've had a long hot day and the last thing you want to do is turn on the oven to cook or sit inside watching tv.  Here's what you need to do.  Head into Boston and wrap up your day sitting on a patio (or a roofdeck) with a perfectly cooked meal and some ice cold white wine at one of Boston's best restaurants.  We only get a few months out of the year to enjoy the weather, so we absolutely have to make the best of it!

The picture above is a picture I took in Paris on our honeymoon, it's one of the coolest alfresco dining spots I've ever seen.  The hill was so steep that my husband and I joked that one wrong move would send you tumbling down the bottom.  These Parisians know how to do it right!

Here are my favorite spots to dine alfresco in our city:

hamersleys

Hamersley's Bistro in the South End has the absolute cutest little patio around.  It's filled with flowers and vines and is a wonderful escape from reality.  You almost feel like you're in a backyard in Europe being taken care of by family.  Hamersley's in known for their roast chicken (for good reason) but everything else that Chef Gordon Hamersley serves up is divine.

fiore

Restorante Fiore in the North End is home to the best rooftop dining experience in Boston.  I had the opportunity of eating here a few years ago and while sitting under the stars eating a huge delicious plate of pasta while our server took care of our every need, all was right with the world.

eastern standard picture taken off boston.comEastern Standard in Kenmore Square has a covered patio and heated lamps if it gets a little chilly outside.  They serve an amazing selection of cheeses and their raw bar is solid.  On my first visit here I tried the frog legs and was sold on them and the restaurant.  Check out their dinner menu... it's a thing of beauty.

stephaniesStephanie's on Newbury in the Back Bay (on Newbury Street, of course) is one of those restaurants I can't get enough of.  They do upscale comfort food with huge portions that will rival your momma's cooking.  I've tried many things here but the lobster roll, goat cheese salad, and brunch eggs benedict are my absolute favorite.  You may have to wait a bit to be seated, but it's worth it.

And if you needed any further motivation, I saved this picture on my iPhone as a reminder of how precious these summer months are.

Feels like negative 23?  No thank you.  Tonight my husband and I will celebrate under the stars.  Please be sure to do the same.

As always, instead of dealing with parking in Boston to get to these fabulous outdoor restaurants, call Accent Limousine for a hassle-free night of fun in the city.  That extra glass of wine won't matter once you have one of Accent's drivers on the case!  They'll take care of all your needs from boston wedding limousines to a limo trip to Foxwoods to a fancy night out in the city whether or not it's Providence, Boston, Hartford, or New York.  All you have to do is decide where to go and Accent Limousine will take you there in style!
