Father's Day is in one week!

Father's Day is next weekend and I've round up a few ideas for your dear old dad.

Food:

Take him for BBQ!  My dad has a thing for ribs and I'm pretty sure all dad's have that thing in common.  Take him into the city and get him a rack!  Opentable.com is the best way to make a reservation and you can earn money if you use it for all your reservation needs.

• Soul Fire BBQ at 182 Harvard Ave. in Allston claims to be Boston's Best BBQ.  I've heard some amazing things about this place and the ribs are "fall-off-the-bone tender". 
• Blue-Ribbon BBQ at 1375 Washington Street in West Newton has been on my need-to-go list for years.  They were Best of Boston BBQ in 2006, 2007, 2008.
• Smoken' Joe's BBQ at 351 Washington Street in Brighton are known for their sauces.  Try the Memphis BBQ and the Kansas City Sticky Sauce.

Golf:

Now, I don't play golf, but here are a few top rated courses in MA for you to take your dad.  Also, if you sign up for Groupon.com, they sometimes have deals for half priced 18 holes.

Red Sox / Celtics / Patriots / Bruins:

I think these t-shirts are pretty awesome.

 

Who doesn't love a good throw back Celtics jersey?  I'm sure your dad had something like this when he was growing up!
