MFA First Fridays

I may not have mentioned this yet, but I'm a BIG planner. My calendar is always up to date and I'm constantly checking in on it to see what's on the schedule for the day, the week, and the month. Thankfully my husband and I are Mac people, so whenever one of us updates the calendar, it syncs between our two Mac's and our iPhones. Ohhh technology, you make life easy.
When I hear about free events, I immediately put them on the calendar. Who doesn't love free fun things to do? You may remember that I posted awhile back about the 10 Best Museums in Boston, and the Museum of Fine Arts is up there on the list for the best of the best. Even better? They have what they call "MFA First Fridays".
On the first Friday of every month from 5:30pm - 9:30pm, head to the Koch Gallery for fine art, live music, cash bars (featuring signature cocktails), and yummy tapas available for purchase.
Here's the lineup of the MFA First Fridays through June:
March 2—Andy Baer Jazz Ensemble
April 6—DJ Deja
May 4—DJ Rich DiMare
June 1—April Hall Trio (Vocalist, Piano, Upright Bass)
All you have to pay for is admission into the MFA and you get this event as a super bonus. The next event is two weeks from today, so be sure to put it right on your calendar and call Accent Limousine for a ride to the MFA. Parking is pretty terrible outside the museum and the MBTA can be so unreliable, so treat yourself to a fancy night out in the city and enjoy yourself without worrying what time the meter runs out. Did I mention a quarter only buys you 12 minutes of time in the parking meter? Yeah. That's straight out of a scene from a movie.
