Valentine's Day Ideas

Valentine's Day is just a week away! I don't know about you, but I adore this holiday. My husband made a reservation for some fancy restaurant (he's keeping the location a secret until we get there - I love the suspense!) and I know he probably has a few other tricks up his sleeve as he's always full of surprises.
Our Valentine's Days together have always been so much fun. The first year we flew out to Vegas for a few days and ended up celebrating the night at an amazing steakhouse. Our second year he surprised me with a quick get-away to Western MA and we had an amazing dinner and ended the night singing karaoke. Last year we decided to celebrate our first Valentine's Day in our new house so we went to our favorite fishmonger, Morse Fish Co, and picked up scallops, lobster, shrimp and paired it with a huge steak for a surf n' turf. This year I'm so looking forward to staying local and celebrating in a little black dress at a restaurant I'm sure he's given a LOT of thought to. I mean, I am the restaurant recommender... it must've been a tough pick for him!
So what do you have planned for that special person in your life? Perhaps a fancy dinner out? An overnight at a swanky hotel? Have you placed your flower order yet?
