It's wedding season, which means that
bachelor and bachelorette parties -- those fun final "hurrahs" for the bride and groom -- are picking up as well. We're lucky we live in a location that has so many options for memorable nights.
Here are some of the top picks we've encountered from customers, friends, and family.
1. Downtown Boston/Faneuil Hall pub crawl and scavenger hunts with a stop at Dick's Last Resort. There's nothing like
Faneuil Hall in the spring and summer. The atmosphere is jazzed, there are so many fun bars and pubs to visit, and, of course, who can resist some laughs at
Dick's Last Resort?
2. Medieval Manor. Be entertained, be fed well, and be part of the story itself -- that's what happens when you and your friends opt for a night out at the
Medieval Manor.
3. Spa treatment and dinner. Yes, ladies, this one's for you. A mani and pedi with a bunch of your closest gal pals is a great way to pamper yourself and relax. After you get all dolled up, head out for yummy cocktails, fabulous cuisine, and engaging conversation. Whether you choose a spa on Newbury Street or venture into one of the many
wonderful spas and restaurants in the 'burbs, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
4. Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, anyone? What's great about these two venues is that you've got one stop shopping: dining, entertainment, accommodations, and the slot machines all in one handy location.
5. Blue Man Group and dinner in the North End. Enjoy interactive theater with
Blue Man Group (but avoid sitting in the front rows!) and then head to the
North End for some authentic Italian fare. Does it get any better than that?
6. Concerts. Wedding season coincides with concert season here. Think the
Comcast Center,
Bank of America Pavilion, or even
Tanglewood. Concerts are a great way to unwind and have fun with your best pals before the big day.
And, of course, the most stylish and safest way to go to any one of these events is in an
Accent limousine (or our 25-passenger mini coach for bigger parties).
We love working with our customers and helping them to create a fun and safe bachelor or bachelorette party that everyone will remember fondly for years to come.
